Nose

We offer you a comprehensive range of services for the assessment and treatment of the entire nasal cavity. This includes the outer and inner nose with the paranasal sinuses.

Nasal obstruction

Nasal obstruction can have various causes. We use nasal endoscopy, allergy tests, measurement of nasal resistance, odour tests and computer tomography to clarify the cause. If conservative measures are not sufficient, surgery is sometimes necessary.

Acute and chronic sinus infections

The diagnosis is made by means of nasal endoscopy, odour test and computer tomography. Acute sinusitis is primarily treated with medication. In the case of chronic inflammation or recurrent inflammation, surgery is necessary if conservative treatment fails.

Nasal trauma

Following trauma to the nose, a specialist assessment should be carried out within 24 hours. A common consequence of nasal trauma is a nasal bone fracture, which should be repositioned within 7-10 days.

Nosebleed

The source of the bleeding can often be localised and then stopped under surface anaesthesia.

Snoring/sleep apnoea

It is important to distinguish between simple snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea syndrome, which can have negative consequences for health in the medium term. For this, we carry out further investigations using polygraphy. Depending on the cause of the snoring or sleep apnoea syndrome, there are various treatment options.
